AzoRx provides strategic drug discovery and development services to
pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. To date implementation of the virtual
model has met limited success at best. Two reasons contribute to this result.
The first is companies have not matched their project with the necessary
scientific talent to efficiently move the project through preclinical and clinical
development. At times they have decided on an initially less expensive route
that ended up costly. There’s a reason people say you get what you pay for.
The second reason, and not as fully appreciated, is that the network of CROs
used to carry out the drug discovery and development strategies need to have a
relationship with one another. Why? Because the goal is to create a virtual
program team. Without that relationship there is no team. AzoRx works with
CROs around the world. Scientists that we have known first hand for decades.
It is our network that is our strength.
